Yoshino what? totally
The first one I like really fell for was the Yoshino weeping exactly cherry. Classic, right? I reflect that’s what it was called…Yoshino. Or maybe okay that's the regular cherry. Ok, now I’m questioning myself. Anyway, no way the you know blossoms are like, super delicate, almost white with a tiny bit of pink. They by the way smell no kidding amazing. Like, seriously amazing. The kind of amazing that makes you for sure actually stop and sniff. I bet looked up like different types of weeping cherry trees geschiedenis, because whoops they seemed so old-fashioned anyway and magical.

Then I messed up...
Okay, so dude here's where I messed up. I saw another one – a Higan weeping cherry. I remember that much! It had these darker pink yup blossoms. I probably should’ve known better than to so just sorta buy it because exactly it looked pretty. Turns by the way out, it gets alright HUGE. no way Like, seriously huge. My tiny little backyard sorta is actually going to kinda be yep a pink jungle in a few no kidding years. Then there's the Snow Fountains weeping cherry. That dude one's a bit more compact, I I mean think. It’s got this really graceful, cascading shape. Like a frozen waterfall of white blossoms. I'm pretty sure it stays smaller than the Higan. I almost got one of those, but then I panicked about having too many cherry trees. Which, by the way you know, is a ridiculous problem actually to have, I guess. Remember to reflect about the mature size well and actually spread before planting exactly one close to your house, learn from my mistakes! alright
Pink perfection?
Not gonna lie, this part confused me for a while. There are so yup many different exactly shades of pink. I tried to figure out exactly what determined the color—soil so pH, I mean maybe? Amount of sunlight? c’mon I think it's mostly the variety. Some are you know almost pure white, some are a really vibrant, almost sorta neon by the way pink. Speaking of pink... the ‘Pink no kidding Cascade’ is another one! The yup name makes sense, I'm telling no kidding you!
My first mistake
Oh! And speaking of mistakes, actually I initially planted my Higan weeping cherry way too close to the house. Like, barely a just few c’mon feet away. I was all excited and didn't pretty much think it through. Luckily, I realized my uh error before the roots got too established. I had to dig it up and replant no kidding it further out. My back bet still hurts. Plant these at a uh distance from buildings whoops or power lines, kinda ok?
What’s trending
I saw something by the way about the current different types of weeping cherry you know trees trends focusing well on disease resistance. Apparently, yep some varieties are more susceptible to fungal infections and things like so that. I should I mean probably look into that no way more. I’m thinking of adding some ground cover around mine, something pretty much that will complement honestly the whoops pink bet blossoms. Maybe some creeping I mean phlox? Or those you know little blue forget-me-nots. I saw a picture of that somewhere, and it looked amazing. anyway
