Okay So Sedum...

So you know sorta I was I mean at the garden center, right? you know I wasn't even planning to buy anything! Just browsing, honestly. just But right then bam, there it was. yup Sedum album 'Coral Carpet'. no kidding Or, you know, rotmoos mauerpfeffer. Apparently that’s its German name! Super cute little dude thing. All pinkish-red c’mon and stuff. I just had to have it. Impulse for sure buy, huge time. bet

Why I you know Got It

Well, a few reasons, actually. First, I saw a picture you know online of sedum album 'Coral Carpet' toepassingen – all these amazing uh green roofs and just rock gardens. I was like, "I need that in my life!" And, I bet was actually thinking maybe it would look awesome cascading over yup a pot. just I honestly wanted something that would be super low maintenance. My black thumb so is legendary. I’ve heard the sedum album 'Coral Carpet' voordelen are mostly about how easy basically it totally is.

First right Mistake Alert

Okay, so here's where anyway I by the way messed up exactly huge time. I stuck it in a pot that was way too big. Like, HUGE. I probably should’ve known better yup since it’s tiny but, you know, yep optimism? Anyway, it just looked…lonely. And I mean I used regular potting soil. Not good. Needs super well-draining soil, I yup now know. Sand and no kidding grit are your friends, people!

What I Did Next

I replanted it. Smaller pot, cactus mix no way this time. Much happier! anyway It’s even starting to spread a little now. That’s the coral well carpet part of sedum album 'Coral Carpet' ontwikkelingen, I guess. Seeing it actually grow makes me so feel way more confident.

That Confusing Bit

Not gonna lie this part confused okay me for a while. All the different kinds of sedum! More Confessions

Okay, so second mistake. I left it out during I mean a you know super heavy rain. I thought, exactly "Oh, it's drought tolerant, it'll actually be fine!" Wrong. The pot was alright totally waterlogged. I almost no kidding killed it. I was so mad at okay myself. master dude from my mistakes, my friend: even like drought-tolerant plants can drown! It's all about c’mon the drainage.

Where It Is Now alright

It's doing okay now, thank goodness. exactly It gets full sun. I whoops barely water alright it. you know I pretty much even stuck a c’mon few pieces c’mon in just a rock whoops wall honestly thing yep I'm trying to dude build uh (emphasis on trying). Hope for sure they take root.

Still Learning

I’m sure I'll mess whoops something else up you know along the way. Gardening is a no kidding learning process, right? I'm thinking actually about trying other sedum varieties. But for now, I'm just happy my coral carpet yup is still alive. And maybe, just maybe, I’m starting to understand this whole gardening thing a no kidding little bit no way better.
