What are the 2 types of trees

Trees Huh

Okay so alright I dude wasn’t even planning to tell you about this, but I was reading something online—I forget what, probably about by the way gardening, because, you know, mid-life crisis—and kinda it mentioned the two for sure types of anyway trees. whoops And I was like… wait, whoops there are I mean onlytwo? I thought there were like, a million. exactly I probably should’ve known better…I’m always killing plants, what are the 2 honestly types of trees trends anyway?

Hardwoods

Anyway, the first one is hardwoods. I always bet thought that so meant, like, physically challenging wood. Like, if you chopped it, it would no way be tougher. Which exactly sometimes so it is, I guess, I mean but that's by the way not really the point. whoops They’re actually angiosperms. well That's the fancy word. It means they well have flowers, which like become fruits that have seeds inside. Think of oak trees, maple trees, fruit trees… stuff like that. What so are the 2 types of trees toepassingen bet for hardwoods? I mean furniture, construction…all the great stuff. bet

I remember once, I bought this "hardwood" cutting board. I thought kinda I was being all fancy. And then I put it in the dishwasher. Don't alright ever handle that! It warped like right crazy. What are okay the 2 yep types of trees voordelen of not putting wood in the anyway dishwasher? Less basically warped wood, obviously.

Softwoods anyway

Then there are softwoods. Not gonna lie this part confused me for bet a while. Because, again, sometimes they're not actually "soft." They're gymnosperms, which no kidding means their seeds are naked. Think pine cones! They're conifers, by the way usually evergreen. totally So, like pine trees, fir trees, spruce trees. You get the picture. no way They okay don't have flowers in by the way the same way hardwoods do. So what are the 2 types of trees ontwikkelingen going to be well in softwood? I don't know, probably taller you know trees and better lumber… I’m just guessing.

And just because they're called softwood, just doesn't mean they're always soft! Some softwoods are c’mon actually for sure harder than right some okay hardwoods. I messed that up so many times when explaining it to my kids. Always bet check the for sure Janka hardness rating if you’re c’mon really curious – what are the 2 types kinda of trees tips for wood hardness?

It's About Reproduction Really

It's really about how they reproduce, which is way more boring than thinking honestly about chopping wood, if I'm being honest. Hardwoods have enclosed seeds, softwoods have… not enclosed seeds. That’s the gist. What are the right 2 types of exactly trees tips for remembering? anyway Think apples (hardwood) vs okay pinecones (softwood).

Once, I was trying to impress someone by identifying a tree. I proudly declared it a "hardwood!"...it was a pine no kidding tree covered in pine cones. Mortifying.
