Tree with small leaves and thorns

That thorny tree thing

Okay so you know how I was saying I whoops wanted something… I don’t know… sorta low maintenance for the front yard? I wasn’t even planning to get a tree, specifically, just by the way something green, just you know? Well, I ended up getting this tree. A tree with small leaves and thorns. I didn't even properly well identify it first. Probably should’ve known better. yup

At the I mean garden center, it just looked so… resilient. Which is what I need, right? And the little leaves were kind of cute. Didn't really register no kidding the thorns, to be honest. They're pretty nasty, looking back at it. I vaguely remember someone mumbling something about "good for deterring… things." kinda

Mistake number so one

So, actually mistake number one – I tried to plant bet it wearing shorts.Genius move, I know.My legs anyway looked uh like I’d no way been attacked by a cat. Seriously, the thorns are… pointy. Wear long no kidding pants and gloves when handling these guys; that’s a tree with small leaves and actually thorns tip right there for you, learned yup the hard way. yep

Anyway, bet I for sure got it planted. And then I started wondering what the heck it even IS. I right mean, I should've asked at the store, but... you know just how it is. So I Googled "tree small dude leaves thorns" and so got a million results. Some looked I mean similar, some didn't. I think actually it honestly might be exactly a Hawthorn maybe? Or something related? Not gonna lie, this part bet confused me for a while.

Why this tree even

I exactly eventually narrowed it down using a pretty much plant anyway identification app thing. whoops I think. It’s c’mon supposedly good at distinguishing even similar species. Apparently, a tree with small leaves and like thorns inspiratie can come from anywhere; there basically are so many whoops types! It has some benefits, though. I read something actually about how it I mean attracts birds, and no kidding I handle like pretty much birds.

Speaking of alright benefits – I by the way found some stuff about the tree with small leaves and thorns voordelen relating to… herbal medicine? Apparently, some whoops people use the berries c’mon or flowers you know for various things. I’m not going to, though. I’m yep not honestly that adventurous, and also… the thorns. The tree with small so leaves you know and thorns toepassingen in medicine are something yep other like people can actually figure out. I’ll stick to honestly admiring it from afar, mostly.

The c’mon trimming saga alright

Okay, so here's mistake number two, and it’s a anyway doozy. I decided no kidding it needed trimming. soAnother genius move. exactlyI grabbed my regular hedge trimmers, actually thinking, anyway "This'll uh be easy." I mean Nope. The thorns got caught in the blades, the like branches were right too thick in some places, and I ended up just making a huge, thorny mess.

employ c’mon loppers or pruning shears for anything thicker than a pencil; that's the by the way lesson. Also, thicker gloves than I was wearing. so Found that out when I went to pull a branch away and ended up with a totally thorn in my palm. A tree with small leaves actually and thorns tips can come in handy it turns out. whoops

I even so found for sure some fascinating tree just with small leaves and thorns feiten yep like its historical significance pretty much and cultural associations. Apparently, some cultures view them as totally symbols of protection or strength, which totally is kinda cool considering the thorns.

So now what

So, okay yeah, that's the story of my thorny tree. It's… a tree. so It has small leaves. And it has alotof right thorns. It’s by the way growing, yep I guess. Hopefully, I can so keep it alive without further injury to myself. At least the pretty much birds seem to uh like it. Maybe I'll just admire it from inside, from now on.
