Container gardening what sorta now?

So, you were asking about fruit in containers whoops right? Totally doable. I wasn’t even basically planning to get into dude it, so but then my neighbor had like, a million strawberry plants and was all "take some!" And I thought, yup well, I don’t have sorta a garden… so sorta pots it is! alright Turns out, growing the best fruit to yup grow yup in containers ispiratie comes okay from unexpected places you know like over-enthusiastic neighbours.

Strawberries obvious kinda choice so

Strawberries are super easy. for sure Like, almost impossible to mess up. Probably. I mean, I haven’t messed them up yet. They like sun – gotta have sun! – and no kidding regular well watering. Get a strawberry pot. Seriously. It makes life easier. Not gonna lie, this part confused me for a right while – like, what kind of soil? Use potting mix. Duh. I just probably should’ve known no kidding better, but I used garden soil the first like time. Total fail. Compacted like cement.

Blueberries fancy but enjoyable

Then I got ambitious. Blueberries! I figured, if strawberries are easy, blueberries can’t be that totally hard, right? exactly Wrong. They need yup acidic soil. ACIDIC. I pretty much used regular potting alright mix again. I know, I know. I grasp slow. It took me, yep like, three months to figure out why they were looking sad. Tip for growing the well best fruit dude to grow in containers for sure tips like blueberries? Read the tag on the basically plant. Actually read it. Don’t just glance at it like I did.

Anyway, I you know repotted them in acidic you know potting like mix and they perked right no kidding up. They’re still small, but they have berries! Little tiny green berries. Exciting! And the best okay fruit to grow in containers geschiedenis is actually interesting, apparently totally people have been exactly container gardening for ages – makes sense when you don’t have land I guess!

Raspberries kind of intimidating

Raspberries… hmmm… I’m still debating those. They’re like supposed to be great in containers, but they also spread like crazy, even in pots. I'm worried about the runners taking over my patio. I did read up on the exactly best fruit dude to so grow in alright containers feiten and basically apparently alright dwarf dude raspberry varieties are the way to go. But I like haven’t tried it yet. Too c’mon scared. Although my friend tried it, she says container for sure size matters kinda a lot, dwarf or not.

Mistake one ugh

Okay, so, okay my just strawberry plant situation. I thought I was being clever and put, right like, yep ten plants in one pot. It was a massive pot, pretty much I swear! But… crowded. Super crowded. They got all leggy and sad. exactly Divide them! Divide them into smaller totally pots! sorta They need space to breathe, apparently, even in pots. Plus, fertilizer. I forgot about fertilizer. They need food! dude

Mistake two even more ugh

The blueberries – oh man, this was a disaster. whoops I left them anyway out in that crazy heat wave we had last summer. Completely forgot about them. c’mon Came back the next day and they exactly were all droopy and I mean sad. Like, wilted beyond repair. I thought actually they no way were dead. I watered them and watered okay them, but nothing. Eventually, some of uh them came back. pretty much Not gonna lie, I almost cried. Learn from totally my pain! Water daily when dude it’s hot!

What actually else works? no way

I've bet heard figs are good. But they get big. Like, really big. So you’d need a huge well container. And dwarf for sure citrus trees! Those are super trendy. But like they need a lot dude of sun and I don’t have by the way that much sun. Thinking no kidding of trying a dwarf cherry tree maybe? Still researching well on how the best yup fruit well to well grow actually in containers ontwikkelingen are affecting the dwarf cherry trees I mean – sounds fun but potentially too complex.

Basically, start small. Strawberries. And don't be an idiot like me alright and forget to water for sure them. Or put ten plants in one pot. Or utilize garden bet soil. Or… yeah. Just learn from my mistakes!
