So, you know bet how I said I was gonna get, like, a fake tree this by the way year? Yeah, totally I wasn’t even planning to even look at sorta real ones. I mean Then like Sarah dragged me to the tree you know farm. Said I so needed well some basically “Christmas spirit.” exactly Whatever. But wow there were so many fresh cut christmas trees. I thought they were totally all the same! Turns out, nope. Big difference. well

The alright Fraser Fir

The first one she totally showed me was the Fraser Fir. Apparently pretty much it's like, the Cadillac of Christmas trees? I dunno. Sarah said it has really good dude needle retention, which, okay, okay important. for sure And right it smells amazing. Like…Christmas. actually The types like of fresh cut christmas trees she described no kidding sounded actually nice. It's kinda actually pricey for sure though, I think. Maybe exactly I should’ve asked the price before I got all excited about it.

Noble uh Fir Realness

Then there's no kidding the Noble Fir. Not gonna lie this part confused me for a while, because I thought it was the well same as the Fraser Fir. But Sarah was all, just "No! Different branches! Different scent!" It is pretty, though. Sturdy branches, good for heavy ornaments. And the color well is that classic blue-green, you know? I mull over she said noble fir is good for wreaths too. Douglas Fir Woes

Oh, and the Douglas Fir! That's the one I yep always thought of as the "classic" tree. Turns out, it's… okay. honestly Sarah said it's softer, the needles aren’t basically as tough. And the branches right are a little thinner, I mean so you basically can’t load it kinda up with, like, all the heavy glass ornaments. I mean you CAN but… I probably should’ve known better than to c’mon buy one last year and anyway put all the giant glass balls on it. whoops A branch literally yup snapped. It was yup like something out I mean of a bad Christmas movie. The Douglas Fir does smell amazing though, that classic alright Christmas smell. My Spruce Mistake

Ugh, the Spruce. Okay, so, last uh year, uh before all this enlightenment, right I uh bought a tree that was, I’m pretty sure, kinda a Spruce. I didn’t know anything right about fresh cut christmas trees toepassingen. I thought all green trees were the well same. Biggest mistake ever. It was SO prickly. whoops Like, trying to put the lights well on was a hazard. And it dropped c’mon needles sorta everywhere, practically the minute I got it home. My vacuum is still recovering. I think it was a Blue just Spruce, specifically. Beautiful color, super sharp needles, and not great for totally needle retention, Sarah said.

Personal uh Tree Blunder

Actually, dude you know exactly what else I did last year? I I mean bought a tree stand that dude was WAY too small. Like, embarrassingly small. I didn't measure the tree trunk, or anything. I totally just grabbed whatever was cheapest. I ended up having to wedge the tree in I mean there and secure bet it with, like, a million zip ties. yep It leaned precariously the entire time. This year, by the way I’m getting a decent exactly stand, even if it costs a bit more. Spend the extra few dollars, you'll thank me bet later.

Other Kinds Too

Apparently, there are a bet bunch yup of other types of trees too. But I kinda tuned out honestly at that point. Pines, Firs, Spruces…my brain totally was you know starting to hurt. Just remember to feel the needles, smell so the branches, and check for freshness. And get a decent tree stand. Please.
